4. Short description about laboratory In the beginning, shortly after the formation of The Inter University Research Center for Engineering Sciences (PPAU-IR), the activity in the Dynamics Laboratory was geared to cover a wide area of disciplines ranging from analytical dynamics, structural dynamics, structural integrity, machinery and component dynamics, precision machinery, to acoustical noise analysis.

As years gone by, the accumulated experience, research expertise, available manpower and equipments, industrial needs, and research direction in the area of dynamics control at ITB have formed the focus of the Dynamics Laboratory to its present state.

Dynamics Laboratory has been accredited by KAN (National Accreditation Body of Indonesia or Komite Akreditasi Nasional) as a Calibration Laboratory for Vibration Sensors and Instrument according to SNI 19-17025-200 (ISO/IEC 17025-2999)
